Sustainability in practice
Hengst Air Filtration Czech Republic s.r.o. is actively reducing its environmental impact
At Hengst Air Filtration Czech Republic s.r.o., a leading expert in indoor air filtration, we view sustainability as a key component of our corporate culture. Our production facility in Liberec has therefore launched a series of eco-friendly initiatives aimed at reducing energy losses, minimizing waste, and promoting greater environmental responsibility.
More Efficient Production and Energy Savings
As part of an internal workshop on air leaks, we identified the areas with the greatest energy losses directly in the production halls. The result is a set of concrete steps to optimize operations and ensure greater efficiency in the production of our pocket filters, compact filters, and HEPA filters—cutting-edge products that contribute to healthier and cleaner indoor air.
Waste Recycling and Sorting
At the same time, we are conducting a thorough review of our waste sorting practices and implementing new internal standards for proper waste management and recycling. In addition, we have made recycled paper the default standard in our office spaces. Every step toward sustainability counts—and that applies to day-to-day office operations as well.
Helping Protect Nature
We take our social responsibility seriously. In collaboration with the nonprofit organization Čmelák, we have become involved in maintaining the area around Vesecký Pond, which is part of the Natura 2000 network of sites of European importance. Our goal is to support biodiversity and preserve native plant and animal species in the region where we operate.
A Long-Term Commitment to Sustainability
For us at Hengst Air Filtration Czech Republic s.r.o., sustainability is not just a marketing slogan. It is a long-term commitment—whether it involves developing highly efficient filtration technologies for clean air or making responsible decisions every day in production and operations. We thank all our colleagues who contribute to these initiatives—together, we are shaping a future that is cleaner, healthier, and more responsible.
