Sustainability in practice
Hengst Air Filtration Czech Republic s.r.o. actively reduces its environmental impact
At Hengst Air Filtration Czech Republic s.r.o., a leading expert in indoor air filtration, we see sustainability as a key part of our corporate culture. Our production unit in Liberec has therefore launched a series of environmental activities that lead to reduced energy losses, lower waste production, and greater environmental responsibility.
More efficient production and energy savings
As part of an internal workshop on air leaks, we mapped the areas with the greatest energy losses directly in the production halls. The result is specific steps to optimize operations and ensure greater efficiency in the production of our pocket filters, compact filters, and HEPA filters—top-of-the-line products that contribute to healthier and cleaner indoor air.
Waste recycling and sorting
At the same time, we are thoroughly reviewing our waste sorting practices and introducing new internal standards for proper waste processing and recycling. We have also introduced recycled paper as the default standard in our office spaces. Every step towards sustainability counts – and that applies to everyday office operations as well.
Helping protected nature
We take social responsibility seriously. In cooperation with the non-profit organization Čmelák, we have become involved in the maintenance of the area around Vesecký rybník, which is part of the Natura 2000 site of European importance. Our goal is to support biodiversity and preserve native plant and animal species in the region where we operate.
A long-term commitment to sustainability
For us at Hengst Air Filtration Czech Republic s.r.o., sustainability is not just a marketing slogan. It is a long-term commitment – whether it involves developing highly efficient filtration technologies for clean air or making responsible decisions in production and operations on a daily basis. We would like to thank all our colleagues who are involved in these initiatives – together we are creating a future that is cleaner, healthier, and more responsible.
